NNH KIDNEY EDUCATION CLASS:

Our kidney education class is given every three months usually on a Friday from 1-3 PM. This class is for patients with Stage IV CKD. The class is about 90 minutes long and covers many topics from kidney basic function, causes of kidney disease, a kidney healthy diet, medications that protect kidney function, options for renal replacement therapy including different forms of dialysis and renal transplantation. Patients with CKD4 are welcome with 1-2 family members.
